Kelly Osbourne says the fashion world will never be the same since the tragic death of Alexander McQueen.
The presenter was a close friend of the designer – who was found hanged in his London home last week after reportedly taking his own life – paid tribute to him and believes nobody will ever come close to his legacy.
She said to weekly column for Closer magazine: ‘I’m devastated at the death of my friend Alexander McQueen, who, it seems, may have committed suicide at this London home last week. He was only 40 and the fashion world will never be the same without him.
‘There aren’t many great designers in the world, even fewer trendsetters. His fashion told a story, it meant something. He was distinctive and unique. No one will come close to replicating what he did.’
Meanwhile, Kelly took to the catwalk at New York Fashion Week on Sunday (14.02.10).
The newly-slim star strutted herself at the Betsey Johnson show, which was inspired by saloon girls, vagabonds and gamblers,
She was the first model of the evening with a bandanna mask, playfully wielding toy pistols before revealing her face.

Elle Macpherson wears men’s aftershave.
The supermodel is a huge fan of Vetiver by Guerlain and has been wearing it for 28 years after stealing the scent from an ex-boyfriend.
Talking about her beauty regime, the 46-year-old Australian said: ‘In Australian culture, beauty is not particularly idealised. I grew up making face masks with egg whites. I still don’t wear a lot of make-up. When I’m working, I Use Revlon Age Defying foundation – it has a fantastic texture. In the evening, I wear black kohl around my eyes, and remove it before bed with Vaishaly Cleansing balm.
‘Like my mother, I used Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream, before developing my own product, Body Silk. And I’ve worn Vetiver by Guerlain since I was 18. I think I nicked it from a boyfriend. I’m fortunate to have olive skin, as I’m a sun worshipper.’
The mother-of-two – who has her own line of beauty products and lingerie – also credited her good looks and figure with drinking lots of water and regular exercise.
She told Style magazine: ‘I’m more inspired by wellness than beauty; I do Pilates, and when abroad I surf and paddle-board. Water is my biggest beauty tip: I drink three litres a day. And a pair of large, dark sunglasses.’

Matthew Williamson admits his life has become consumed by work.
The designer is about to launch his debut menswear collection and says he’s become obsessed with it, even though he knows it’s unhealthy.
He said; ‘I’m working from eight in the morning till 10 at night every day right now. I don’t really have much of a life, I really don’t. I went out last night for the first time in god knows how long. I go home, eat my dinner and go to bed. It’s not how I want to live forever; it’s not healthy to be this consumed by your work.’
Designing a full menswear line has always been a dream of Matthew’s and says he was inspired to do it after creating a range for high street store H+M, which featured clothes for both men and women.
He told The New Review magazine: ‘I’ve always wanted to do menswear – it’s never been a struggle to think about how it look, but I guess H+M is the reason for why now. That was a really nice project, as I got to deign clothes I could wear myself. And it sold well, so I was chuffed. It inspired the thought that it really could happen.
‘This range is just us dipping our toe in to begin with. We’ll see if people are interested, then hopefully we’ll build on it.’
