Britain’s Next Top Model made its fashionably glitzy return to the small screen this month with some very exciting new judges and of course the much-anticipated new head judge that is the beautiful and glamorous, Elle Macpherson. Cycle 6 has got off to a great start with plenty fashion and modelling fodder for the fans to devour. From surprise self-eliminations to heated arguments over the everlasting super skinny vs. curvier models debate, there is definitely a lot to talk about this season already – and there have only been two episodes aired so far!
This sixth season of the hit modelling show promises to be the best and most dramatic cycle so far, which is fantastic news for us fans watching at home! However, if you are one of those avid viewers of the reality show who are no longer content to just watch anymore , but would like to participate – then there is the fantastic opportunity to apply for Britain’s Next Top Model in 2011. Although no plans for the next season have been released yet, any hopeful applicants have some time to brush up on their posing, pouting and strutting before the application process for BNTM 7 begins next summer.
Britain’s Next Top Model has helped launch the glittering modelling careers of many young girls from around the UK. The reality TV show puts the hopeful models through all the paces of the industry including drastic makeovers, gruelling photo shoots and more walking in sky-high stilettos than anybody would care to do, all to help the models gain experience in the very tough business of modelling.
Of course there is more to modelling than walking, posing and looking good – an incredibly strong work ethic, a great personality and a generous helping of luck are needed to make it in the industry. I have always had the passion to be a model all my life. I have recently had an operation were i was unable to apply for the pervious series. It would be a great opportunity and achievement for me to take part in this show. I am fashion driving, hard working and i am strong to accept harsh critisims.

By watch Britains Next Top Model and America’s Next Top Model, it made me realise that Models come in different shapes and sizes despite the conventional look;which is what encouraged me to aspire to be a model.I think my look is very strong and unique.

In the past I have been bulliedabout my weight and size (how small i was). In being bullied I have had no confidence and i have been trying so hard for my confidence to come back. I am hoping that I will get the oppertunity to be on BNTM to help me become confidnt with myself.

I have the musical and theatrical talent to be a star, but can my looks top my talent? I have been told I am the next Kelly brook…but what I want to know is…….can next top model make my look uniqe? I am destined to reach the sky of media and feel that BNTM is the way! so what I say is BRING IT ON!
I really think i would do grate in this, i am trying my hardest to get into the modelling career, i have had several shoots but none paid, i dont have loads of experience but i am willing to work and try as hard as i can.
I hope to some day become the next top model,ill keep on trying no matter what it takes and hope for the best.

Rite from a little girl i have always wanted my career to be moddeling. I always used to and still do look through my mum’s freemans and next catalouges and say how much i want to be those girls. As i was young i didnt know how to get into the modelling career i never proceeded into it, and now that i am older and have come to a hault in my career i think that this is the perfect oportunity to start modeling.
I have no major experience, the only thing that i have done was a small shoot that was mainly based around my hair as it was for a l’loreal hair competiotion.
This has always been my dream and i would love this to be the start of my new career.

Hello, I am wanting to apply for 2011 britain’s next top model however, I am aged 25 next year so would that make me to old for the show? I know this probably won’t make any difference but i just wanted to add that although I am 25 next year I do however look only 20 years old!

I don’t think its fair that only tall women can be models, short girls can model the clothes and pictures just as well as them..

My name is Jess and i have a realy quirky look and personality to match.I have a good sence of humour and enjoy pushing myself to the limits. I have experience with theatrics and apprecieate the artistic side to modelling. I have had a proffessional photo shoot once before, but found it was a company that was not a going to help promote me and just wanted to take my money; after that i have been realy scared to trust agencies but i know that if i was to be given the chance to show what i can offer i know i will be able to apply myself fully to modelling.

i know all designers and have a good insight into the fashion industry. I have studied vogue since i was 11 which has really helped me with my techniques.

Everyone tells me to be a model! And it deffenitly is one of my dreams, but i just dont know where to start even though i do know that if you really want something you will go for it and you will get it but i’ve really tried! maybe britian will love me more than the united states lets see how this works!

I am young fresh and new and really intersted in persuing a modelling career. With a fun and walm attitude i think i could be a good candidate…. I havent got alot of experiance i have done various bridal shoots and clothing ranges but nothing uig!!! I could show britain what its got to be proud of !!

i think that i would be great for the next top model as i have a great personality which shows through on my photoshoots and i can show every girl that you dont have to be stick thin to be a modell. i am a katy perry look alike and have great features such as massive blue eyes.
I was at bntm live 2010 this weekend and got spotted by the scouts and the bntm team for 2011, i was asked, well practically begged l.o.l. to attend the live auditions later next next month and was handed a card, however before i had time to tell them I was only 14 they were off…..So i gather its not worth attending the auditions?, i am 6ft tall and have longer legs than elle which is my claim to fame l.o.l…..oh well maybe i will just have to perfect myself and try out in a few years…….x.x.x.

I really want to get into the modeling industry but I have never had the confidence, I have issues with my body and i really want to get over them plus I always thought my height was an issue, i am 5″4 and i would love it if BNTM did a petite series, i have had offers from a couple of modeling agencies but i don’t know which ones i can trust, I really want this opportunity so please get intouch or could you give me advice on how to apply please. x
I have watched every episode of america’s and britains next top model over and over again and want to get into the modelling industry more than anything! I know I could do it but I’m only 5″5? Will there ever be a bntm for petites like america’s? If there is I want in!!!!

We agree it would be amazing if they were to do a BINTM for petite models but unfortunately this is not currently on the cards. The current competition is open to applicants 5’8″ and over.
