Britain’s Next Top Model is a British reality show in which a number of women compete for the title of Britain’s Next Top Model and a chance to start their career in the modelling industry. The series is based on the hit American TV show America’s Next Top Model, created and hosted by supermodel mogul Tyra Banks. In early 2010 it was announced that model Elle Macpherson would be the new host and head judge. In the new cycle she will be accompanied on the judging panel by top British fashion designer, Julien MacDonald; fashion stylist of the year 2009, Grace Woodward and Charley Speed, a top male model.

The concept of the Britain’s Next Top Model is to find the next ‘it’ girl from the thousands of hopefuls that turn up for the audition. The show has become a massive hit in Britain, with more and more girls who dream of supermodel stardom hoping to make their big break into the industry.
