Model Advice on BBC

The BBC show “You’ve Been Scammed”  approached MA for some advice on modelling scams. Emily Fisher, founder of Model Advice, was very much ready to warn aspiring models of the scams and hooks these companies may use. This was broadcasted just in time for the launch of the MA Awareness Campaign to help and protect those who are or aspiring to be in the modelling industry.

The Little Black Dress

The little black dress or more affectionately know as LBD. Is there a little black dress for everyone? Strictly speaking No! Black is not the greatest colour for everyone (especially as one gets older).

(Warm tone, great asymmetric hem suitable for any leg! No designated waist, can skim over small tummy. (Asos £200)

Black does have the great advantage of hiding the odd lump and bump which is why it has earned itself the highest accolade and the presence in most women’s wardrobe. I don’t look so good in black, and don’t own one, has that hindered me , no. There are plenty of alternatives out there!

Black is a cool colour tone so works best on a cool skin tone. If you are very fair black can look over powering. Know your skin tone and compliment it with a dress that matches. Find out you skin tone at www.Garmentology.co.uk
