Bruce Willis is releasing his own fragrance.

The ‘Die Hard‘ actor has signed a deal with German company LR Health + Beauty Systems to create a men’s scent, which is due out in July.
Tilo Ploger, chief operating officer of the firm, told WWD: ‘The Bruce Willis scent will be extremely masculine and – starting from ingredients through to design – embodies every individual feature of the Hollywood star: strong, self-confident, consistent.’
Bruce, 55, is the latest in a long line of stars to bring out their own scent.
Jennifer Lopez, Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss and Sarah Jessica Parker all have a signature fragrance as do Britney Spears and Beyonce Knowles.
However, one celebrity who won’t release a scent is John Mayer as he thinks it will smell like ‘sausage and sleep’.
The ‘Gravity‘ hitmaker said: ‘I’m not diversifying in terms of selling anything. I’m not selling ‘John Mayer: the cologne’. If I did it would just smell like sausage and sleep. I don’t look at my fans and think, ‘Wow, they really like what I do musically. Imagine if I could get $60 more out of them.’ Who out there really foes, ‘You know what, I just f**king love perfumes. I always have since I was a kid. If I weren’t a pop singer, I’d be a perfumier.’? At some point I may turn into an a*shole, but right now I just peddle a CD for $15 every two years.’

Sarah Jessica Parker dressed ‘like the Kennedys‘ when growing up despite coming from a poor family.

The ‘Sex and the City‘ actress says although she has a humble background, her mother strived to dress her and siblings as well as she could by buying ‘flawed’ dresses.
Sarah said: ‘For the early part of my life I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. We had no money. But we had this factory called Polly Slenders where my mother could go and get flawed dresses, so we were dressed like the Kennedys.
‘That’s how I started learning about clothes. I didn’t have access to clothing the way I did over the course of my tenure over at ‘Sex and the City‘, but I knew what was beautiful.’
Sarah recently starred in a Vogue photo shoot and told how she was astounded how the magazine’s editor Anna Wintour was able to secure a particular dress for the pictures.
Speaking at the shoot, she said: ‘There was a dress from the Dior show in Paris, and Anna pulled it – as only Anna can do – she said, ‘I need this in New York City’, and low and behold it arrived, it’s one of those indescribable Galliano dresses.’

Sarah Jessica Parker admits she couldn’t turn down her role with Halston.

The ‘Sex and the City‘ actress – who is regarded as one of the most stylish women of her generation – became a fashion executive at Halston Heritage, the archive-inspired secondary line of the label, earlier this year and says it was an offer she had no choice but to accept.
She said: ‘There was every reason to say no, and there were very compelling reasons to say yes. It’s an exciting time at that company. It has a wonderful legacy, and I couldn’t say no, and I’m figuring it out.’
Sarah says she has been in awe of the fashion house ever since her first visit to New York in 1977.
The 45-year-old star – who now lives in the fashion-conscious city - said: ‘It was 1977 in New York City, and you couldn’t be alive and not know the name Halston.’
The mother-of-three – who is married to actor Matthew Broderick – admits her new role means it will be a struggle to balance work and motherhood but is sure she will cope.
She told America’s Vogue magazine: ‘Does it scare me? Am I intimidated? Am I challenged? That’s kind of the way I’ve always made decisions ‘Luckily, the Halston offices are about a 10 minute walk from my house.’

Cheryl Cole has retained her crown as the world’s best dressed woman.

The ‘Fight for This Love‘ singer beat off competition from models and actresses to claim the title in the UK edition of Glamour magazine for a second year – while list staples such as Kate Moss and Victoria Beckham slipped down to seventh and eighth places respectively.
Kate previously topped the poll in 2008, while Victoria couldn’t retain last year’s third place.
Cheryl has recently sported a series of figure hugging outfits, typically smart with short, neat skirts, or cut away harem pants, accessorised with hats, as she promoted her new solo material.
Second place went to singer Rihanna while ‘Gossip Girl‘ actress Blake Lively came third.
Rihanna donned a series of tight cutaway outfits and a strong urban, heavy metal and military influence during the latter half of 2009, promoting her latest album ‘Rated R‘.
Blake is a key figure in US fashion and has been praised for her abilities to carry off both casual bohemian style and catwalk dresses, and she has been tipped to replace actress Sarah Jessica Parker in the fashion stakes.
Newcomers to the list include Lady Gaga, Florence Welch, Pixie Lott, Leona Lewis and Kristen Stewart.
Robert Pattinson was named the best dressed man by the magazine while Katie Price was named worst dressed woman, and, alongside with her husband Alex Reid, worst dressed couple.

Sarah Jessica Parker’s new scent is a ‘snapshot of Carrie Bradshaw’.
The ‘Sex and the City’ actress – who plays Carrie in both the TV series and movies – says her latest fragrance, SJP NYC, was designed as a homage to a vision of her character.
She explained at its launch at New York’s Sweetie Pie restaurant: ‘What I really wanted to do was capture an image, a snapshot in my head of Carrie Bradshaw, that sort of freeze-frame of her walking down any New York City street at an idyllic time of year in a floral-print dress on her way to meet somebody or to do something, or surrounded by her women friends.
‘You can go anywhere with that, because we live in a fragrant city,’
Sarah also said she was surprised when the ingredients for the fragrance came together, as it is concocted of scents – wild strawberry with gardenia and vanilla – she wouldn’t usually choose.
She added: ‘What we arrived at was very surprising to me because it’s not notes that I generally cotton to – but I love it.’
SJP NYC comes in a multi-print bottle inspired by the custom-designed Oscar de la Renta dress Sarah wears in the ad campaign for the fragrance.
