Submit a Modelling Story or Testimonial for MA

Have you had some succes in your modelling career since contacting or visiting Model Advice? Have you:
  • Been signed to a modelling agency 
  • Found work as a freelance model through open castings
  • Had some great modelling work published

 

Alternatively, have you been a victim of a less than honest company? Have you:
  • Paid a fee to sign to a ‘modelling agency’ who you now think are a scam
  • Been pressured into paying a large sum of money for a ‘modelling portfolio’ at a makeover studio
  • Been charged a large cancellation fee (on top of booking fee) when you cancelled your booking 
  • Been told you must buy new portfolio images from a specific studio to be signed to an agency
  • Been mislead into paying money to a company who said they could guarantee you modelling work but it turns out they are not an agency

We’d love to hear all your modelling stories to inspire, help, and especially warn others out there about the pitfalls in the modelling industry.

Here’s some questions to help you write up your story:

1. What challenges did you face in the modelling industry before you contacted Model Advice?

2. What have you done in terms of modelling jobs, since coming to Model Advice?

3. Do you think that Model Advice has helped you, if so how?

4. What advice/tips would give aspiring models who would like to break into the industry?

(PS. Don’t forget to add 1-3 photo of yourself- from your portfolio day here at MA, a successful photoshoot, a tearsheet, or even a screenshot of yourself on your agency’s site)
